My rug was delivered earlier than expected. I love the design! It goes perfect in our living room. I'll definitely be ordering again.
Cute but dark
This rug is very cute and I like the design a lot. However, the beige was darker than what I was looking for and I had to return it. It’s definitely beige (like the description says) and not ivory/cream. FYI- to return the rug I had to go to Home Depot to get a plastic bag for rugs to ship it back in. And Boutique Rugs charged $32 for the return.

Thickness is perfect for my kitchen area. The design is pretty and goes perfectly with the farmhouse look I was going for. Great rug and so happy I got it!

If I didn't like the design & the off white color, would have returned. An entire week 24 hrs. per day in a room with wide open windows and large fans blowing fumes out the windows before the intensely strong toxic fumes finally dissipated. Plus I did abundant recommended vacuuming. No unraveling -- so that is excellent. Also, the large (near 8' x near 10') rug arrived in a tidy roll -- but had previously been folded so a dozen sharp crease marks were very difficult to flatten. Spritzed a light coat of water and weighed down the creases over and over till they finally eased out. The delivery man was top notch and very respectful. Would recommend this rug with a warning about the alarming toxic off gasing fumes.

Hi Nancy, Thanks for your feedback. Odors are caused by dyes, yarns and shipping for long distances in sealed wrap. Most odors dissipate within a week once the rug is removed from the shipping wrap. Can you air the rug out for a couple days, after some time the smell should fade away eventually. Since our rugs are rolled and packed very tight, sometimes they do not get flat right away. The best way to go about this is to roll the reverse side and wait a couple of days after opening, and it should flatten out. If possible, using a pad is also recommended. Also putting weight on the places where the waves are would help flatten them out as well. If after a week of trying this, they do not seem to go away, feel free to contactsupport@boutiquerugs.com again and we will be taking the required actions to solve the problem in the best way that we can.
