- Is Pierre actually an AI?
- Yes. Pierre is software trained on a decade of Boutique Rugs consultations and interior-design references. He works the way an in-store stylist would, only faster and at any hour.
- Is it free? Do I need an account?
- Pierre is free, with no account required. Sign in if you want to save room photos and consultations to come back to later — entirely optional.
- Do you keep my photos?
- We use your photo to generate the consultation, then keep it tied to your saved session if you're signed in so you can return to it. We do not sell it, share it, or use it to train external models.
- How accurate are the room renders?
- Pierre matches the perspective, scale, and lighting of your photo so the rug you see is what would arrive at your door. Pile depth and color can shift slightly under your room's lighting — that's why we send free samples on most rugs.
- What if I disagree with a pick?
- Tell Pierre why. He narrows again with the new constraint and shows the alternative he had in mind. You can also browse the full catalog at any time.
- Does Pierre upsell?
- No. Pierre recommends the rug that fits your room and your budget. The starting prompt asks for your range, and his picks stay inside it.
