Care & Cleaning
Viscose rugs, due to their wood cellulose fiber construction, require special care:
- Since these rugs absorb moisture easily, cleaning is generally not recommended.
- Should cleaning become necessary, dry cleaning is the preferred method. However, always consult with the dry cleaner as some chemicals can discolor the fibers.
- Avoid spot cleaning with water as the cellulose fibers can discolor or turn yellow when wet and may result in stains post-cleaning.
- Lighter colors and large, solid areas are more prone to visible staining.
- To minimize the need for cleaning, it's advisable to place viscose rugs in low-traffic areas.
