Rugs are relatively thin and
Rugs are relatively thin and have a rough backing that slides everywhere. The corners like to flip up. The larger size anchored by my table is better (less the corner issue). The smaller sizes are a hard no!

Hi Hitzeman, Thanks for your feedback. We're sorry our rug didn't match your expectation. As stated on our website, The Fogertown Area Rug is a low pile rug, and it's 0.31 inches thick. You can use a rug pad underneath to make it feel thicker and more comfortable on the underfoot. It will also make your rug last longer. Since our rugs are rolled and packed very tight, sometimes they do not get flat right away. The best way to go about this is to roll the reverse side and wait a couple of days after opening, and it should flatten out. Also putting weight on the places where the waves are would help flatten them out as well. I ordered the runner for my kitchen. The colors go perfect with my white cabinets and new butcher block counters. I like the boho/farmhouse look. It does collect dirt easily being black, but nothing a quick vacuum can't cure. It is thick enough that it is nice standing on it while cooking.
