Viscose rugs, due to their wood cellulose fiber construction, require special care:

1. Since these rugs absorb moisture easily, cleaning is generally not recommended.
2. Should cleaning become necessary, dry cleaning is the preferred method. However, always consult with the dry cleaner as some chemicals can discolor the fibers.
3. Avoid spot cleaning with water as the cellulose fibers can discolor or turn yellow when wet and may result in stains post-cleaning.
4. Lighter colors and large, solid areas are more prone to visible staining.
5. To minimize the need for cleaning, it's advisable to place viscose rugs in low-traffic areas.
